I’m super excited to be heading to Grillstock in Bristol this weekend. For those not in the know it’s a big meat & music festival – two of my favourite things! Sadly tickets for Saturday have already sold out, but you can still grab one for Sunday if you’re quick.
It all takes place in the amphitheatre in Bristol city centre, so is nice and easy to get to and no wellies are required!
There will be loads of great live music & DJs along with some seriously good meats & eats. If you’re a fan of BBQ & street food then this is for you. There’s a BBQ competition called King Of The Grill for heaven’s sake! So, without further ado…
Here’s all the info from the Grillstock crew:
Saturday 11th July
Saturday headliners, De La Soul, the American hip hop trio famed for ‘Me, Myself & I’ will be joined by comedic rap music group, Goldie Lookin Chain, Exeter-based garage punk sensations, The Computers, the unique Beatbox Blues duo, Heymoonshaker and Big Joe Bone. The night will be topped off with a late night set by hip hop turntablist, DJ Yoda.
In the BrewDog Bar, top audio visual artist, DJ Cheeba will take to the stage after The 45’s, modern British blues and rock and roll solo artist, John Fairhurst, traditional Americana band, Radio Nasties and Candy Darling have entertained smokin’ fans.
Sunday 12th July
Sunday headliners, indie rock band The Heavy will be joined by retro-modern siblings, Kitty, Daisy and Lewis, Bare Knuckle Parade and Tail Feather.
In the BrewDog Bar, Celtic folk and Americana, or as they like to call it ‘Celticana,’ duo Lewis & Leigh will be joined by the funky rockin’ blues sounds of Benny Guitar Carr, breakthrough Southampton band, Dolomite Minor and modern British blues and rock and roll solo artist, John Fairhurst.
