Congratulations to Frances Quinn on winning this series of the Great British Bake Off and commiserations to all Bake Off fans that the series has come to an end.
But, don’t despair, don’t get withdrawal symptoms…. join us for…..
In an homage to a truly fabulous food show we are launching the Great British Bake Off… on twitter! Or #TWGBBO as we will be hashtagging it.
Next Tuesday, at #GBBO o’clock we invite you all to join us in a bake, share your pictures on twitter using the hashtag and we will recruit some qualified judges to pick the week’s Star Baker!
They will then be awarded a crown, glory and all other lovely things, as well as the chance to share their recipe here on the blog, if they wish. We will also share all the pics we get on the hashtag too.
To join in, just leave a comment with a suggestion for what we should all bake and we will announce the winning suggestion on Sunday!
Then grab all your ingredients and instead of being sad that Bake Off is finished, you can create your own Bake Off in your kitchen on Tuesday 29th October, 9 – 10pm – just after Paul & Mary’s Masterclass.
Leave your comments to suggest a baking challenge!
