Still current advice from 1917

Food advice from 1917

Look at the citation at the bottom

I love it when you see something that just stops you in your tracks, like this. Thinking about Sally’s gluten-free week led me on to thinking about food in general and how we approach it.

I saw this poster from the Western New York Book Arts Centre and thought: “They’ve got it!”

It perfectly summed up my thinking on the subject.

Then I saw the citation. It’s from 1917.

I love how some good advice just doesn’t date.

  1. This is great, I love that it is from almost 100 years ago and still stands. You can’t argue with any of the points. It is always good to remind ourselves that life goes in cycles and the fundamentals do not change. Great find Bex.
